Thin-wall injection moulding

Paint
remains in its container and yoghurt stays fresh. These are just some of
the applications covered by thin-wall injection moulding. The components
are characterised by larger flowpath/wall thickness ratios of 150 or
more. This means that the production of thin-walled parts places special
demands on the technology of ALLROUNDER injection moulding machines from
ARBURG. Highly dynamic filling during injection moulding is important,
as this is the only way to reproducibly achieve the shortest possible
injection times. The hydraulic accumulator technology or servo motors
form the basis for this, and are supplemented by ARBURG’s
position-regulated screw, which ensures regulated injection even at high
accelerations and speeds.
